Arborist Evaluation

Arborist Evaluation is performed by scheduled appointment for a fee based on location to provide a verbal opinion addressing your tree and shrub concerns and developing selection criteria for native planting with site-discussion including:

• plant identification
• plant form, health and structural integrity
• micro-climate and soil conditions
• limiting growth factors
• best practice standards
• selection criteria for native planting
• recommended follow-up

Evaluation Service fee per the cities, villages and townships listed below include an approximately 30 - 45 minutes on-site appointment for standard-sized residential and small commercial properties.  

• $110: greater Kalamazoo and Portage including; Alamo, Cooper, Comstock, Galesburg, Mattawan, Parchment, Plainwell, Oshtemo, Otsego, Richland

• $145: Augusta, Climax, Gobles, Hickory Corners, Lawton, Paw Paw, Martin, Schoolcraft, Scotts, Vicksburg 

• $185: Allegan, Battle Creek, Bloomingdale, Decatur, Delton, Lawrence, Marcellus, Mendon, Shelbyville, Three Rivers 

Evaluation Service fee may be paid by check upon completion of appointment or via online payment from an emailed invoice. Paid evaluation service fees for the cities, villages and townships listed above may be credited towards arborist services within a 12-month period.

Written Opinions (not included in the above Arborist Evaluation service fees) are available upon request and deliver a report detailing an assessment, determination or specification resulting from an Arborist Evaluation. Written opinions often require on-site and off-site data collection, data reconciliation, fact finding or calculations. Written opinions are performed from an agreed-upon assignment scope and accepted proposal developed via phone conversation, Arborist Evaluation or other scheduled appointment.
