Supplemental Support Installation


Supplemental Support Installation of specialized hardware such as galvanized cable, threaded rod, poly chain-loc or constructed props, often combined with pruning, is performed by ISA Certified Arborists on trees and shrubs from an accepted proposal to help you manage risks associated with:

  • consequential partial-tree failure caused by defected branches, stems or trunk
  • splaying or breakage of branches in upper-crowns of plants used for screening
  • temporary support for establishing plants
  • preservation of low extended horizontal scaffold branches

Proposals for supplemental support installation services are developed from an Arborist Evaluation or other scheduled appointment and include:

  • name and location of each plant
  • associated risk factors and supplemental support objective
  • method, technique and hardware
  • equipment
  • recommended timing
  • recommended follow-up

Arborist Evaluation service fees may be credited towards Supplemental Support Installation services within a 12-month period.

Evaluation services fees are required for proposals in Allegan, Battle Creek, Bloomingdale, Decatur, Delton, Lawrence, Marcellus, Mendon, Shelbyville and Three Rivers.
